Smart Manufacturing, Standard First | Digital Workshop Integration Standard Launch Meeting and Smart Manufacturing Technology Seminar was successfully held
On 13rd Nov, the national standard launch meeting of ‘Power Battery Digital Workshop Integration Part 1: General Requirements’ and the second seminar on intelligent manufacturing technology for lithium batteries were successfully held at the Crowne Plaza Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center, hosted by Geesun. The meeting was held in three ways: offline meeting + online Tencent meeting + full live broadcast. People who are participating in this meeting were Mr. Zuozhong Yin, director of National Automation System and Integration Standardization Technical Committee, Mr. Junwei Xu, deputy director of Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision, Mr. Lizhuan Chen, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as leaders at all levels of city, district and street office, battery industry associations, standard technology research institutes and CATL, Gotion, Sunwoda, Lishen, SVOLT, A123, EVE, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and other lithium enterprises, universities and research institutes of the leaders and experts, we gathered to talk about the standardization of lithium manufacturing.

National Standard Seminar
’Intelligent manufacturing, standards first’, standardization construction is to promote the intelligent manufacturing of power batteries and the key to the development of power battery industry and enterprise competition. In August 2021, the National Standardization Administration Committee formally approved the recommended national standard plan ‘Power Battery Digital Workshop Integration Part 1: General Requirements’ project, plan number of 20213027-T-604, the National Automation System and Integration Standardization Technical Committee lithium battery intelligent manufacturing equipment standardization working group (SAC / TC159 / WG18) is responsible for the development of the project, and the project cycle is 2 years.
As the heart of new energy vehicles, the power battery is the focus of the new round of global competition in the automotive industry, and is a booster to achieve the national ‘double carbon’ strategic goal. However, there are some bottlenecks in the development of the industry, such as unstable safety of battery, qualified rate to be improved, poor consistency, low reliability, etc. These problems seriously affect the power battery into a more extensive use, the development of the national standard ‘Power Battery Digital Workshop Integration Part 1: General Requirements’ will fill the industry gaps, open a new journey of standardization of intelligent manufacturing of power battery, leading the development of power battery manufacturing to take the road of standardization and intelligence, and realize the efficient, high-quality and rapid development of power battery industry.
Chiwei Huang, the person in charge of standardization of Geesun, summarized the national standard development plan and the work of the working group, and Bin Feng, the industrial interconnection manager of Geesun, introduced the content of the national standard draft.
The participating units conducted in-depth discussions around the standard structure and technical content, and put forward corresponding comments and improvement suggestions on the standard draft, and each participating unit determined the schedule of the standard development. Next, Geesun team will continue to work together with all units to gather industrial consensus and jointly promote the work related to battery smart manufacturing standards.
