A total of 261 people passed the review, and 32 colleagues of Geesun Intelligent won the corresponding title, accounting for 12.3% of the total number, including 1 senior engineer, 3 engineers, 24 assistant engineers, and 4 technicians.

On the same day, the Shenzhen Machinery Industry Association also announced the results of the professional title evaluation of mechanical engineering. 12 colleagues of Geesun Intelligent were awarded the professional title of mechanical engineering, including 1 deputy senior level, 9 assistant level, and 2 staff level.

Background information

China's lithium battery industry is developing rapidly, but industry-related talents are facing the status quo of "no professional title application channel".

In the evaluation of professional and technical titles, many new fields have blind spots such as the lack of professional title evaluation standards, the lack of relevant majors, and the lack of evaluation organizations related to the industry.

August 2020

The "Administrative Measures for the Evaluation of Professional Titles by Social Organizations in Shenzhen" issued by Shenzhen began to be implemented.

For the first time, publicly select social organizations to undertake professional title review work in all industries, encouraged and supported social organizations to set up new majors with professional titles such as lithium batteries, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and network security.

April 2021

Shenzhen held the first national title review meeting in the lithium battery industry. Academician Chen Liquan of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (Academician Chen is also the chief scientist of Geesun Intelligent) was invited to join the review. According to statistics, a total of 99 professional and technical personnel passed the review in 2020.

May 2022

On May 23, the 2021 lithium battery professional title review list began to be announced, and 261 professional and technical talents were included. After the announcement is over, the "Lithium Battery Engineering" title certification will be issued by the Shenzhen Battery Industry Association.
